Syngenta launches Beniel (BS-47394), a california red high quality from the first cut
on June 21, 2013
Near of 500 agriculturalists of the Field of Cartagena and of the different zones of crop of Murcia have approached to the Day of pepper that Syngenta has organised to present his new variety Beniel (BS-47394), a california red that gives quality from the first kilo of production and until final of cycle.
Syngenta is referent in varieties of pepper in the Region of Murcia by three reasons: his range of varieties adapts perfectly to the different segments of market and needs of the agriculturalists; it has varieties leaders in production, that are the referent of quality in the auctions and in the cooperatives of pepper of the zone; and all they have double resistance to L4 and Spotted. According to Victor García of the Eagle, Portfolio Manager of pepper of Syngenta for Spain and Portugal, “in the case of californía red Syngenta has the widest offer adapted to all the segments of the market of Murcia, already was for ecological crop, early, late, with calibrate G-GG and GG-G, for greenhouses of climate controlled and always with double resistance”.
The agriculturalists visited the invernadero with Beniel.
In this sense, Beniel comes to complete this wide range: “Beniel already carries years of essays to level pre-commercial in the zone and the results are excellent. It is a pepper with high productive performance and with a very uniform fruit. The learning of the fruit does from the cuaje initial, that is used to to be in conditions of cold and with little light, but Beniel forms the fruit of perfect form from the beginning, with his four helmets, and keeps it until final of the cycle”, commented Victor García.
With these characteristic Beniel is a pepper with commercial performance very high from start of campaign, from the 3-4 first kilos and keeps the quality in the cycle of summer with high temperature, with maduration in red and being very consistent in the plant with heat. This same idea of quality transmits it José Luis Narrow Soto, technician of Agroquímicos The Triviños, that is convinced of the success of the variety: “Beniel is a red California that has a calibrate upper to the varieties that exist now, with calibrate practically triple G and very consistent, with a hard leather and a plant vigorosa, but that gives kilos without that it grow a lot, that is the best to take production and quality”. This technician of The Triviños stands out “the quality, the size, the very formed fruit from the beginning, the alive red colour that sues the market and his hard leather”.
