The Irta organises a seminar on bases for the marketing of oils of high range

On the other hand, in producer market, it is possible to locate high quality oils at prices affordable, capable of marketing through these pathways. Virgin olive oil is a product highly documented in origin, with the majority of batches analyzed at the chemical level, even, sensory, that information properly interpreted, allows to differentiate the product and position it under the different strategies of high-value marketing in these markets, but also very demanding.
This day will provide different information about the oil in their markets of origin for use in high-end positioning strategies. It aims to answer fundamental questions: what are the appropriate criteria to choose a high-end oil?, how to verify the validity of an analysis and interpret chemical and sensory analyses to describe the product, what are the main varieties of olive tree?, what are the basic systems for the processing of Virgin olive oil?, what are polyphenols?, What is the biochemical basis of the sensory attributes and up to what point can be identified by a normal consumer?, what are the basics of tasting that identify a high-end oil and explain them to the client?
