Follow-up of the essays to improve the distribution and efficiency of the fertilizantes

In the actuality are realising successfully some essays to treat to improve the distribution of the fertilizantes that are more frequently used in the Spanish agriculture, to check his behaviour with distinct models of fertiliser spreaders. These realise in virtue of an agreement signed by the Ministry of Agriculture, Feeding and Environingingment (MAGRAMA) with the Station of Essays for the Characterisation of Fertiliser spreaders and Sowing machines (EECAS), and has the active participation of diverse manufacturers of fertiliser spreaders and fertilizantes, as well as of Anffe (National Association of Manufacturers of Fertilizantes) and of Ansemat (National Association of Machinery Agropecuaria, Forestry and of Green Spaces).

The aim of this project, framed in the 'Spanish Strategy of Climatic Change and Clean Power', is to have a greater knowledge on the regulations of the fertiliser spreaders and on the distribution of the fertilizantes mineral, with the purpose to improve the most efficient application of the same and his sustainable use. This agreement is continuation of another that realised in 2009. In the essays, that are llevar from mediated of the past year in EECAS, situated in the Upper Technical School of Agricultural Engineers of Palencia, is analysing the behaviour of eight fertilizantes, in ten different essays and in a total of seventeen models of fertiliser spreaders, number that could increase along the essays. The fertilizantes that are analysing are: fertilisers complex, sulphate amónico, sulphate potásico, NAC and urea, some of them with different densities and granulometries and applied in distinct dose.

Recently, several representatives of the MAGRAMA and of the companies of fertilizantes that are participating in the project, as well as of Anffe and of Ansemat, have realised a visit to the Station of Essays of Palencia to check in situ the essays. During the visit the representatives of EECAS have showed the improvements llevar recently in the station and have remembered that the procedure of realisation of the essays fulfils with all the valid norms on the matter. They have informed, likewise, that is installing a new system automated of heavy electronics equipment dealers equipment dealers of the fertilizante projected by the fertiliser spreaders, in each one of the receptors, more precise and fast that the current.

In the essays of EECAS, in each machine abonadora regulates specifically his more ideal width of work for each type of fertilizante that tests , to attain that the coefficient of variation of the machines, that is to say, the irregularity in the distribution, was inferior to 15. The physical parameters that characterise a credit are the density, the granulometry, the hardness and the esfericidad, being all they very important so that the fertilisers can be distributed properly by the fertiliser spreaders and do not generate dust during his application. To date they have examined six fertiliser spreaders, and in the essays has remained patent that is very important the correct regulation of the machine and that the quality of the credit influences directly in the result of the same and in the curve of his distribution. The conclusion of the essays is foreseen for finals of the present year.
