The Irta organises a day of demonstration of machines trinchadoras for vineyard

The next 18 January, the technological centre Irta, ascribed to the Department of Agriculture of the Government of Catalonia, organises in the Experimental Unit of Gandesa (Tarragona) a day demostrativa of machines trinchadoras of rests of poda for vineyard.

The integral mechanisation of the crop of the vineyard has comported the elimination or reduction of all the manual works of the crop. The collected of the sarmientos and wood of poda has mechanised of partial form for many years, but often the sarmientos collected burn in the own field or save to use them like fuel.

The minced of the sarmientos and wooden rests in the own vineyard allows restituir to the floor a part of the organic matter and improve the relation coal nitrogen, at the same time that deletes the works of collected and transport of the rests of poda, abaratando his cost.
