It approves the Royal decree that recognises to the producers and forces to subscribe a dairy agreement

This Royal decree, that develops and complete the measures of the designated “dairy Package”, establishes the forcing of formalización of the agreements by writing in the transactions realised in the sector before verifying the supply, considering a key element of cohesion and stabilisation in the sector.

With this regulation, all the sales of raw milk will be subject to an agreement signed in advance in which they will include , among others elements, the volume hired and the price to pay. Incidentally, in the agreements in which the seller was the own grazier will demand the minimum length of a year, except that the own grazier refuse this prerogative, in whose case, the length will be the one who freely pacten the parts involved.

Also establish the functions awarded to the organisations of producers in the dairy sector, as well as the minimum requirements that they have to fulfil and the norms for his recognition by part of the competent organs of the Autonomous Communities where root the headquarters of the entity applicant.

With the aim to balance the chain of value, authorises to these organisations of producers to be able to negotiate of collective way for his associated, the terms of the agreements, included the price. It supposes an important advance to improve the position negotiator of the producers in the chain of value, that will be able to concentrate the offer of his production and negotiate jointly with the following link of the chain.

The Royal decree determines equally which are the purposes of the Organisation Interprofesional Dairy, that plays a very important paper in appearances so notable like the promotion, the investigation and the development, the manufacturing of statistics that improve the transparency in the sector and the improvement of the knowledge of the productive structure and of the market or the promotion of the consumption and of the productions of quality.

By means of the new disposals improves the situation of the producing sector of milk, particularly feeble by his productive structure atomizada, and the perishable character of the product. This new norm endows to the producers of tools to balance his position negotiator, so that it guarantee a greater transparency and confidence for all the chain of production of raw milk, from the producer to the final consumer.
