Presentación
The IRTA is an institute of investigation of the Government of Catalonia, ascribed to the Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing, Feeding and Half Natural, regulated by the Law 04/2009 of 15 April, of the Parliament of Catalonia, that adjusts his activity to the private juridical legislation.
The mission of the IRTA is the one to contribute to the modernisation, competitiveness and sustainable development of the agricultural sectors, alimentary and acuícola, to the supply of healthy foods and of quality for the consumers and, in general, to the improvement of the welfare of the population.
