Solarímetro: for measurements of solar radiation

Picture of Solarímetro
The Solarímetro manufactured by Casella uses to measure the intensity of the global solar radiation total received in the terrestrial surface, after crossing the atmosphere.

His answer is to the direct and diffuse radiation. The diffuse solar light continuous receiving on the earth even when the sun is unseen after a cloud and in the periods of penumbra previous when dawning and back to the put of sun.

When connecting it to the And.M.To., it obtains the measurements of the solar radiation. In the first place the basic measurement of 1 minute, used to include in the statistical values of global solar radiation. Second a seudo-sensor that has his own channel, and registers hours of solar light. The total value accumulated of hours of sun determines calculating the exposed time to a level of upper radiation to 200 W/m2.

This channel has a resolution of l minute and will indicate the number of hours (minutes) that the solar radiation has exceeded a value preestablecido. Like this it obtains the daily value of hours of solar light. The value threshold established for the definition of "opposite solar" Light to "Luz day" is of 210 W/m2.

The Solarímetro allows to connect an application of software to determine the "Length of the day".
